Frequently Asked Questions
How long before I move overseas should I contact you?
It depends on the service you are after. We can organize relocation services like an introduction to Bangkok very fast, but when you are moving here we need time to ensure everything is in order for your arrival. Everyone’s situation is unique, so give us a call today and let us know where you are in the process!
What do I do when I first arrive?
We recommend staying for a short period in a serviced apartment, and we can help to organize this for you before you arrive. This allows you to get comfortable with different areas of the city, before we help you to find a home for the long term.
How will you find me the best home?
Our consultants will sit down with you and listen to what you are looking for in your new home. Based on your requirements, we will run you though the type of homes here in Bangkok that best suits your needs, as well as areas that we recommend. Once our guide has shown you through the area, they will take you to a range of properties we believe best fit what it is you are looking for. You may find the best place on day one, or it may take a couple of weeks to find your new home. Whatever it takes, we will ensure you are happy with the property.
What do I need for a work permit?
Our staff will coordinate with your employer to prepare all of the necessary documentation. The requirements often change, so please check with us or your employer beforehand, or contact the Department of Immigration.
What should I bring when I move?
Depending on how long you plan to stay, it will change what you need. Someone here for a 3-6 month contract could get away with a suitcase full of clothes, and purchase anything else you need here. Families relocating here for a longer period may feel more comfortable bringing all the comforts from home.
